Within Temptation'in dördüncü stüdyo albümü. Ayrica grubun Amerika'da yayinlanacak olan ilk albümü. Bu albüm bir öncekine göre (bkz: the silent force) daha sert olmus ve orkestra ve yaylilar yerine gitarlar ön plana cikmis. Bence daha da güzel olmus. Ayrica Sharon den Adel bu albümde daha farkli vokaller de denemis.
